‘Intercession”
What does it truly mean to stand in the gap for someone else? This message takes us deep into one of the most powerful and often overlooked dimensions of prayer: intercession. Drawing from Ezekiel 22:30, where God searches for someone willing to stand in the breach and finds no one, we are confronted with a sobering reality and a stirring invitation. Intercession is not a passive or optional part of the Christian life. It is a ministry, a battlefield, and a calling that every one of us can answer. We explore how praying for others transforms us, making us, as 1 Timothy 2 describes, beautiful and acceptable in the sight of God. The message challenges us to shift our gaze off ourselves and onto the people God has placed in our lives, carrying them into His presence the way four friends carried a paralyzed man through a rooftop to reach Jesus. Whether it is a prodigal child, a struggling friend, or even an enemy, intercession invites us into something far greater than our own comfort.
